Love INC of Metro Tampa Announces New Executive Director

Love INC of Metro Tampa is excited to announce the appointment of Chalette M. Davis to Executive Director.

Since 2015, Chalette has served as the Director of Missions and Events for The Portico, Hyde Park United Methodist Church’s downtown gathering space and cafe with a mission.

“As a two-time guest of Love INC personally,” Ms. Davis said, “I am energized by the organization’s holistic approach to see the unique value of each guest we serve.  The opportunity to pay-it-forward by helping to take Love INC of Metro Tampa to the next level is a dream that resonates with my personal journey.”

The mission of Love INC, a national ministry movement, is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.  Since its inception, Love INC of Metro Tampa offices have been housed at The Portico.

Ms. Davis (she/her) brings a wealth of experience to her new role as executive director. She has deep roots in the Tampa community, serving as a Board member for Hillsborough House of Hope; on the Leadership Council for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay; and as a sustainer for the Junior League of Tampa. She’s an U.S. Air Force Veteran with over 20 years’ experience in public and non-profit sector leadership positions.

In addition to her professional experience, Ms. Davis has deeply engaged with justice issues, the arts and advocacy. She has a heart for individuals who may feel disenfranchised from conventional expressions of church.

“Chalette is uniquely talented,” said Ann M. Doyle, Love INC’s co-founder and current Interim Executive Director. “My husband Mike and I have been pleased to know and work with Chalette since we opened Love INC’s doors in 2016. I can’t wait to see what she will bring to Love INC’s next era of ongoing success.”

Chalette’s first official day with Love INC will be March 27th, and her arrival to this new role will be celebrated at Love INC of Metro Tampa’s semi-annual prayer breakfast fundraiser on April 18th at The Portico.
