Tiara’s Love Story

Stability when it mattered most

A Family Reunited

Tiara is a 29‑year‑old mother of four who has fought hard for stability. Perseverance and sacrifice shaped her journey as she rebuilt her life for her children. Working full‑time at the Veteran’s Administration, she also drives Uber at night to stay afloat. Returning to school strengthened her long‑term plan to secure her family’s future. After years of foster care, court hearings, and separation, she finally reunited her children under one roof. Their names are Jermiya (14), Trevon (12), Aniya (9), and Deonte (7).

Weeks before Christmas, everything she rebuilt came under threat.

A sophisticated bail scam stole $1,000 from her during a false emergency. She pursued every legal option to recover the money but could not. The loss left her $500 short on rent and facing eviction on December 19. Eviction is devastating for any family, but the stakes were higher for Tiara. She has an open DCF case that requires stable housing for her children’s safety. One of her sons is on the autism spectrum and needs consistent routines to heal. He spent most of his life in foster care and depends on a stable home to continue progressing.

Tiara had a plan for January—scheduled overtime, tuition reimbursement, and holiday Uber shifts—but she needed immediate help to prevent a crisis that could undo years of progress.

That’s when Love INC stepped in.

Through a referral from a colleague, Tiara found a community ready to surround her with Redemptive Compassion®. Church partners came together to stop the eviction, preserve Christmas for her children, and provide a bridge of support as she prepared to enter REACH, Love INC’s Transformational Ministry. What began as emergency assistance became something deeper: a circle of believers walking with her, praying with her, and reminding her that she was not alone.

“In the months that followed, Tiara and her children stepped into a renewed hope so powerful that they chose baptism together, marking the beginning of a bold new walk of faith.”

Today, Tiara stands not as a victim of circumstance, but as a devoted mother who refused to let hardship define her family’s future. Her story is a testament to what can happen when the Church shows up at the exact moment a family needs stability, dignity, and love.

And because the Church showed up with love, Tiara kept her home—and her hope moved forward with her.
