Love that Kept Krystal Moving

When Love Helped Clear the Road Ahead
Krystal’s journey with Love INC has come full circle—from receiving support to participating, serving, growing through REACH, and continuing to encourage others along the way.

Krystal’s journey with Love INC has never been defined by a single moment of assistance.

Over time, she has experienced Love INC in several ways—as a Guest, REACH participant, volunteer, and church liaison. She has received support during difficult seasons, but she has also continued showing up, growing, serving, and encouraging others.

Krystal celebrates completing a REACH milestone alongside Matt Davis of Love INC—another step in a journey marked by growth, perseverance, and continued connection.

That ongoing relationship is what makes Krystal’s story special.

Earlier this year, another practical challenge threatened to slow her progress: her vehicle needed significant repairs. The issue involved her 2017 Lincoln MKC, including concerns with the brakes.

For Krystal, being without dependable transportation was more than an inconvenience.

As a mother working part time and pursuing greater stability for herself and her children, reliable transportation affects nearly every part of daily life—getting to work, caring for her children, attending appointments, participating in church and community, and continuing to pursue longer-term goals.

While the repair was being worked out, Krystal relied on others for rides back and forth.

Behind the scenes, Love INC continued working to find a solution. A local mechanic was brought into the network as an approved provider, the necessary documentation was completed, and an ASO request for the vehicle repairs was submitted and approved.

Love INC then partnered with Jeffrey Bernecer of Crankhouse Auto Service to complete the needed repairs and help get Krystal safely back on the road.

For Krystal, the impact was immediate.

“I’m so thankful and grateful to be back on the road,” she shared.

But the story did not stop with a repaired vehicle.

Even while navigating transportation challenges, Krystal continued investing in her own growth. She participated in REACH Transformational Ministries, attending Work Life sessions in June and July and continuing into Healthy Boundaries in August. She has also participated in Affirming Potential.

That consistency says something important.

Krystal was not simply waiting for someone else to solve a problem. She was continuing to work, learn, grow, and take steps toward the future she wants for herself and her children. Her goals include strengthening her career and ultimately creating greater independence and stability for her family.

And Krystal has experienced Love INC from both sides of the relationship.

She knows what it means to receive support when a burden becomes difficult to carry alone. But she has also become part of the community that serves—volunteering, participating, encouraging others, and helping connect people to the ministry.

That is why this story is about more than an auto repair.

Sometimes transformation happens through a class or a meaningful conversation. Sometimes it happens when someone discovers a new strength or takes another step toward a goal.

Krystal celebrates alongside fellow Love INC Guests, volunteers, and supporters—one of many moments reflecting her growth, connection, and continued journey with Love INC.

And sometimes, love looks like fixing a car so someone can keep moving forward.

For Krystal, the support removed an immediate barrier—but the journey continues.

The love she received did not stop with her. She continues to show up, grow, serve, and become part of the same community that has walked alongside her.

That is what it looks like when love comes full circle.

This is Love INC in action—meeting practical needs, investing in lasting relationships, and walking alongside our neighbors as they move toward greater stability, purpose, and hope.
